How It Started
Starting After Class was inspired by real-life challenges.
Coming from the U.S., where after-school activities are built into school systems, our founder quickly realized that finding activities in Sweden was a frustrating process. Everything required digging through websites, dealing with complicated sign-ups, and hearing “it’s already full” time and time again.
As her daughter grew, she wanted to try guitar one week, painting the next, and coding after that. But rigid scheduling made it hard to explore freely. After talking to other parents and providers, it became clear—there had to be a better way.
Today, After Class isn’t just a solution—it’s a game-changer. Teens finally have the freedom to discover new interests without barriers, and parents can effortlessly support their child’s growth.
